Reductil (sibutramine) is a potent prescription medication that affects your appetite control centers and reduces your food cravings helping you to lose weight. Before you start taking Reductil tell your doctor if you have high blood pressure, glaucoma, underactive thyroid, seizures, liver or kidney disease, depression, heart disease, a history of heart attack or stroke, bleeding disorder, or any other medical conditions. You may need to be monitored for side effects by your doctor. Tell your doctor if you develop any of the following serious side effects: fast or pounding heartbeat, severe headache, joint pain, headache, confusion, easy bruising or bleeding, stiff muscles, sweating, blurred vision, vomiting, blood in your urine, and anxiety, as they mean your treatment is not going quite as planned.
